Energy Supply
One of the most important aspects of industrial manufacturing is reliable and affordable energy. When it comes to energy, our industrial parks are distinguished by technological innovation and commitment to the environment.
Our parks in Choloma are completely independent of the national grid, but are supplied by a variety of energy sources that feed into a dedicated, private interconnected system, ensuring the energy supply to all our customers.
Energy Projects
43.8 MW
GENERATION CAPACITY
• Elcatex Group is already generate 43.8MW of electricity using primarily biomass.
• The main biomass used as a source of fuel is a bagasse. sawdust. subproducts from african palm and clean coal

56.7 MW
GENERATION CAPACITY
• This HFO/CNG plant will reduce our overall energy cost between 15-20%.
• l34K gal/hr of hot water
• 26.2 Ton/hr of steam.

24 MW
GENERATION CAPACITY
• Plant consist on the generation of 16.4 MW of solar energy installed over the rooftops of Elcatex Group.
• This installation is the largest Photovoltaic Project on rooftops in Latin America.

2.6 MW
GENERATION CAPACITY
• The plant consists of treating
residual water (extracted from king grass), through an anaerobic process (zero oxygenation) to generate biogas.

Scada Master
Monitoring System
- An intelligent energy monitoring system enables the optimization and efficient utilization of resources such as electric power, steam, and water.
- The node consists of two substations, each with a capacity of 30 MVA, operating from 13.8 to 34.5 KV, and one substation with a capacity of 50 MVA, operating from 13.8 to 138 KV.
- The SCADA system oversees 21 km of privately owned transmission lines at various voltages (138 KV, 69 KV, 34.5 KV, 13.8 KV, 480V) for the distribution of electric energy to its customers.
- It has the capability to make real-time decisions and classify clients based on their requirements and the current conditions of the internal grid
Wastewater Treatment
We have an internal treatment plant that allows us to manage and purify the water used in our textile processes. This system ensures that the water is properly treated before being reintroduced into the environment, meeting rigorous quality standards.
This initiative reflects our commitment to sustainability and the protection of natural resources, supporting a responsible business model that contributes to a cleaner, healthier environment for future generations.
